Pros
Strativ has some good sides. The work environment is friendly, and people are generally helpful and easy to work with. There is a good focus on work-life balance, which many employees appreciate. The company culture somestimes feels too relaxed, and colleagues support each other when needed.
Cons
However, there are also some important areas that need improvement. One major issue is the lack of strong technical leadership. There is no clear technical direction, and this makes it difficult for teams to grow in a structured way. There is also a clear lack of a strong technical CTO, and this becomes very visible in day-to-day work. Without a technical leader at the top, there is no clear long-term vision for engineering. Different teams often move in different directions, and there is no common standard for how work should be done. Because of this team leads tend to focus only on their own projects instead of building a shared technical culture. There is little coordination between teams, and important decisions are not guided by a bigger technical strategy. This also affects learning, because there are no structured initiatives like training, knowledge sharing, or technical roadmaps.
This gap is especially noticeable when comparing with companies that have strong technical leadership. In those cases, there is clear direction, better planning, and more focus on growth. At Strativ, the absence of this role makes it harder to introduce new ideas, improve systems, or create meaningful technical challenges for engineers in the age of AI.
Job security is also a concern. Because project flow is not stable many employees feel uncertain about their future in the company. This can create stress and make it harder to plan long term.
