Pros

Learn a lot under pressure (if you can cope with constant goal post changes)

Cons

- Dish out shares to 'examplary employees', only to take them back (and fire you) as soon as your no longer any use to them (e.g you burn out) - Technical debt on brand new isolated features is pushed for if it means you get it done faster - we should never voluntarily introduce tech debt - Disorganised stakeholders, features often come via Whatsapp from a CEO who thinks 100 devs = 100 x the output - Tech solutions decided by the business and contracts signed without any consulting with the devs or tech leads, leading to integrations that are lengthy and often unachivable. - CTO is nice to your face but behind your back its another story, lead devs and managment have the same mindset, leading to a toxic environment.

Pros

Operating with some of the best tooling and committed to it.

Cons

Everyone is overworked. The leadership openly sets ridiculous timelines to "motivate people" in the hope that even if they miss them they'll still deliver faster than if they had a reasonable pace. The pay doesn't match the stress. And there is little to no celebration of milestones.
