Pros

- Amazing team, great people, fair and friendly culture. - Flexible work environment, results oriented. -HR makes sure to reach out and care about employees, mental and physical health. - IT support and hardware well supported and open to adding SAAS to improve efficiency. - Team has high expectations, and everyone pushes for excellence, great place for growth. - Big challenges and fast paced environment may not be for everyone. - Lots of transparency throughout the company, from finance to ops. - Leadership is not stuck on yesterdays decisions, will make the right decision for the current opportunities and customers .

Cons

- Figuring out how to change the world is hard, and working on huge problems which sometimes hard to see the fruits of your labor. - Early stage startup and most people are expected to wear a lot of hats. - Company has moved remote during covid and still figuring it out. - Aggressive hiring and fast growth with limited support for employees still being developed. - Global team working across time zones not for everyone.

Pros

Brilliant Team - you will learn from and be pushed by this team: CEO already has a successful exit, VP of engineering used to report to Elon Musk at SpaceX, engineers hold patents and one even wrote the book on Elixir Solving Big Problems - if you’ve had to say “what was that again” on a zoom call in the last year you already understand that today’s internet can be painful, what you may not be as familiar with is that it can be 5x worse in some parts of the globe, Subspace is looking to solve real time performance everywhere Wide Scope - because the problem we are trying to solve is so big, there is more work to go around than people to do it, your role is as big as you want to make it

Cons

Sink or Swim - while there is opportunity to have a wide scope, there isn’t a ton of hand holding or HR type programs in place to help you thrive in your role Near Term Clarity - while it’s clear where we want to be in the next few years, it can feel thrash-y if you aren’t used to an early stage startup environment
