      There were some smart people working here who were laid off within days of starting

      Cons

      I quit my stable, promising, long term position after Subspace offered me better pay and made many assurances on job security They assured me multiple times that they had enough money for 5 years even if all customers stopped paying them and that they were struggling to keep up with customer demand I started with them and was laid off within a week along with 30% of the workforce because Subspace was burning through cash too quick I am now struggling to make ends meet in this Covid economy with no job and no money

      - Pays well - Company wide time off to help with COVID stress

      Cons

      - Lies were told during the recruiting process to give confidence to prospective hires that the company was financially stable - Engineering leadership micromanages engineers - New hires had an AMA with the CEO who left the call after 10 minutes, leaving COO to answer questions - Mass layoffs without any warnings from leadership that the company was struggling - Getting code merged is a nightmare of process that doesn't provide value - Favoritism influences how rules/processes are applied Overall, avoid working here unless being micromanaged with little to no direction is your thing.

      Pros

      Since the pandemic, you can work from any location.

      Cons

      The company has no direction or proper planning. the CEO and CTO are a joke! They ran their last company into the ground and now they are trying to con gaming companies that their technology is a game-changer (which it is not).
