Pros
Leading/Well renowned firm in the region so you get exposed to a lot of really high profile and interesting jobs that have shaped the Triangle, design focused firm, openness to climb quickly if you break your back for the job, opportunity to be exposed to all phases of design including construction administration early on, nice historic building with great natural light and in the heart of downtown
Cons
Where to even start. This firm is so poorly managed. The principals are stretched thin from the sheer volume of projects they have and have no time to provide feedback, absolutely no work culture, no overtime so lots of unpaid hours, horrible benefits and very low pay for the area, deadline driven so can be pretty stressful at times, extremely high turnover, all about cost cutting so designers suffer, no formal training
