Pros

As they like to say during the pandemic " be grateful you have a job." And being without insurance will make you not cautious

Cons

Was laid off in match when covid started, they fight my unemployment claim afterwards and hired me back on 3 months later. I requested health insurance be reinstated when I went back, they denied me and said I had to wait until the next open enrollment and would not help. I have had several issues with my manager contacting me on my personal number outside of work hours and threatening not to pay me, when this was reported to he nothing was done. They then said I was not coming back fast enough from lunch when I was showing up 5 minutes early and reviewing emails and cases, and they fired me. I also had a medical issue and asked if I could work from home, they denied that saying it wasn't feasible, then made it mandatory a month later. I was the highest tenured agent and put in for every higher position they had open and they purified people that had been there a month with no experience

Pros

Remote work and great coworkers

Cons

Extremely low pay for the amount of work and the type of calls that you have to deal with. Lots of mircomanaging. Unrealistic metrics. Lack of knowledge and competency from leadership because at no point should your workers know more than you about the job itself. No care for unforseen life circumstances that affect your ability to work. Very stressful and mentally exhausting which often leads to burnout. No recognition for hard work and meeting metric goals. Too hard to get PTO approved. Tech and internal systems are always breaking which affects your ability to do your job. No one is ever on the same page which often leads to being given incorrect information. No room for growth or opportunities to go into other roles. Benefits are not that great. Mid health insurance plans, no 401K match, no parental leave, and no internet reimbursements. They'll sell you a fairytale in training so BEWARE.
