-pay is terrible-it was arranged as an hourly wage for four hours a week, when it should be either a stipended position or a position where you're actually paid for the hours you work (there were some weeks where I worked 10-20 hours and was paid for four). -the SAM directors have no clue what they're doing. -If you really want to help students, become an RA instead (or be a SAM for a year as a precursor to being an RA).
