Pros
The work is easy, as soon as you know what you're doing on the different aircrafts, you fly through the work. So long as you have a sense of humour, you will pretty much get on with everyone in the workplace. You will always be offered help if you ask for it.
Cons
It has been run poorly, the ACS manager doesn't actually want to do the job right and when you want to ask an important question they can only answer, they say they're too busy and to come back laer, and when you do, they're still busy. The controllers (Supervisors) on shift can be cruel, and shout at you for no reason. Nobody is perfect at their job, however, if you miss a small bit of rubbish in an aircrafts pockets, you aren't capable of doing your job correctly and then get picked on the rest of the day/week if they're being generous with their time to you. Note: I have a friend that told a colleague to stop stomping around and barging past people when taking a bag of dressed pillows out to a plane for one of the aircrafts, and she got pulled into the office for bullying. All she had said to the girl was to use her manners and say excuse me so everyone can hear, and she burst into tears and my friend got picked on the rest of the week for it on a certain shift. She never even got to explain her side properly (she did have a strained back from a previous shift and so told the girl off for smacking the bag of pillow into her back) and the controller that shouted at her said if she wasn't fit to work then she should 'F' off home, and would help send her on her way. When we don't get paid full pay for being off sick.
