Is this your company?

Looks cool on the outside, but inside its way 180 degree opposite. - Senior Engineer Switch Communication Employee Review

Pros

Market competitive salary only when you can negotiate and they have a budget. A few supportive seniors who guide during difficult times. Big building, multi-story one.

Cons

The Whole Company is run by a one-man, called Rehan, the COO, the Chief Micromanager. Business practices are highly questionable. Toxic culture where managers protect only themselves. Lack of transparency and merit in decision-making. Promotions seem to reward flattery and politics HR works more as a shield for the company/COO: appreciation, appraisals, and increments are very low or not given by turning down the request harshly.

Pros

1. A few committed colleagues who try to maintain professionalism despite the environment. 2. Exposure to multiple responsibilities due to loosely structured roles. 3. You learn resilience faster than expected.

Cons

1. Career growth is not merit-based. Promotions are influenced by proximity to the CEO rather than performance. 2. Leadership frequently refers to the culture as their so-called family, but day-to-day behavior does not align with that claim. 3. High level of micromanagement, with limited autonomy for employees to make decisions. 4. Providing feedback carries risk as it may be referenced negatively in later discussions. 5. Priorities shift without warning, resulting in rework and operational inefficiency. 6. The environment gradually reduces confidence and limits professional development. 7. Employee turnover exceeds 35% annually (a figure quoted in an offline discussion by someone from SWITCH HR), reflecting persistent dissatisfaction and structural issues. 8. Overall culture prioritizes internal politics over stability, clarity, and employee well-being.

Pros

Friendly and cooperative colleagues, supportive teammates, and a collaborative work environment.

Cons

This company is one of the worst places you could ever work at. The environment is toxic from top to bottom. C-level executives are arrogant, rude, and treat employees with zero respect. There is no work-life balance — expect to be overworked and undervalued every single day. Salaries are low compared to the market, and no matter how hard you work, there is no appreciation or recognition. Micromanagement is suffocating here. Every small task is controlled and questioned, leaving no room for growth or trust. The leadership culture is built on ego, not on supporting employees. It’s also quite obvious that some of the positive reviews posted here are fake — conveniently written on the same day to boost ratings. Instead of trying to manipulate reviews, the management should focus on genuinely valuing and respecting their employees. Only then will they start receiving real positive feedback. If you value your career, mental health, or basic respect in the workplace, stay far away from this company.
