      Cons

      Long hours. Flexible schedule but there’s a lot of work to get done, which means you consistently work way more than 40 hrs/week.

      You are never bored due to constant work

      Cons

      Lab is run horribly. Sample Management never sees promotions. Starting salary is good and then you’re trapped in quicksand. I was graded as the highest possible rating for my merit increase and got a $0.26 hourly increase. The company doesn’t care about everyone working on the back end of studies.
