Pros

Nice Office (don’t be fooled) Free snacks if you care Some dedicated employees on the installation team Friendly owners(don’t be fooled)

Cons

Paranoid, dishonest owner Very unprofessional management Likeability is more important than skills and productivity Worst costumer relations Pay is salary and once a month(expect to work overtime for no compensation) Very poor pay compared to other local A/V companies No drive time to job site is included in your day No flexible hours what so ever(7am to 3:30pm) Expected to not take breaks or lunch Cheating the costumers constantly and often getting caught so expect to be confronted by clients! Project management is the poorest I have ever seen in any company Lots of out of town work with extremely short notice When jobs are out of town you will share a room(you won’t be told at your interview) Constant problems with pay check or reimbursement(so check your pay stub every time) Lots of gossip Install team is blamed for every design or managerial errors! Project manager will throw you under the bus to make him appear look good for the owners. Very toxic paranoid environment caused by one of the owners. One other thing to mention:Every single positive review is written by the marketing department!!!!

Pros

Synergy's leaders are clearly invested in client relationships and dedicated to precise and timely work. Internally, I have found that each employee works to better the company, to increase productivity with attention to detail, and to strengthen interpersonal relationships with creativity and fun. I feel lucky to belong to such a passionate, talented, and hardworking crew, and I try my best to keep up!

Cons

Our company is growing. So, naturally, more work means more work! But as business hits an upswing, I feel like my co-workers and I are equipped to tackle each obstacle, and I am looking forward to adding to our team to ease the growing pains. At the end of the day, this feels like a good problem to have, and one that will solve itself if given time.

Pros

-Company vehicle and fuel card -free junk food? -A few good guys that try to keep things light and fun.

Cons

-Everyone is salary. Meaning you will not get paid for the overtime you will be expected to work -Pay is below average in comparison to local competitors -Benefits package is mediocre -Turnover rate is very high (90% voluntary) -Raises are rarely given and typically less than 2% of annual pay -Pay checks are once a month -Very little accountability and QC -No per diem for out of town work (average 5 to 6 weeks per year) -Not at all conducive to family life (work/life balance) -Very gossipy -"likablity" over competence -Very small company, little room for advancement -Majority distrust of management team -Everyone is replaceable. Ownership makes this very clear -No formal training opportunities -Misuse of company assets for personal endeavors -No Christmas bonus Its also important to note that most of these reviews were written under the discretion of the management team by the marketing/HR department.
