I wish I’d taken the reviews seriously before joining. In my experience, Synoptek fosters a toxic culture marked by favoritism, where policies are applied inconsistently to favor certain individuals. Employees, including myself, are underpaid, overworked, and constantly on edge due to frequent and unpredictable layoffs. HR’s focus seems to be on protecting the company rather than supporting employees. When I raised concerns, I felt dismissed and labeled as a problem, which made it impossible to feel safe. I was told by others I should have never trusted HR and feel that that is the sentiment for many. Overall, the environment feels demoralizing and unsustainable.
