Cons:
• Inclusion and Microaggressions: Despite claims of fostering an inclusive environment, I have witnessed and experienced numerous instances of microaggressions.
• Favoritism: Favoritism is rampant. Employees who put in less effort are often rewarded more than those who work diligently and with dedication.
• Poor Management Practices: Managers sometimes set up employees for failure. I’ve seen employees having to train their own replacements who started as temps.
• Ineffective Senior Leadership: Senior management lacks understanding of administrative roles. The senior manager is nice but incompetent, often relying heavily on admin staff and participating in or allowing workplace bullying.
• Non-Competitive Pay: The compensation is below market rates, especially for senior administrative assistants who often support up to 30 managers.
• Lack of Support: Managers frequently fail to provide necessary resources and are quick to shift blame onto support staff.
• Difficult Work Environment: Many of the people we support as senior admins are entitled, selfish, rude, and have no issue shifting blame. The lack of managerial support exacerbates these challenges, making it particularly difficult to work here.
• Outdated Equipment and Software: T. Rowe Price is like a dinosaur. Our equipment and software are old and dated, and the company needs to update to the times.
