Pros
The only thing I can thing of is job security. However, if you speak up about anything, you feel like your going to lose your job.
Cons
Ever since I started with TD, I have been miserable. The pay here is horrendous and mgmt knows it. The cap is $36000, which is very low compared to other bank owned firms. They would try to claim that is it competitive, but I dont know who they think they are kidding. They are now in the process of "reviewing" the base salary for assistants and they have been since last summer. The process was supposed to have been completed by Dec last year, but we are now into mid April and still nothing. Noone has got any sort of annual raise at all. I know that alot of people are extremely unhappy at TD. The only response TD would give was that they are "working on it" Im sorry but if that were their salaries I dont think they would be too fond of waiting 4+ months to get a response. This is also a horrible place to work if you want to advance your career at all. Management does not want you to advance so they dont have to pay you more. Everytime someone in our office tries to go to management they are made to feel as though they are being a pest and are patted on the head and turned away. There is a very high turnover rate, needless to say.
