Pros
Tyco offers many opportunities for career advancement, especially for those willing to relocate. Since Lynch has taken over the company seems to respect employees much more. This is evident in several ways; Tyco under Koslowski had repeated unpaid furloughs, this has ended. Many methods of communication from management through the organization have been launched and are being utilized. Several systems have been put in place to highlight excellence and innovation. The focus has switched from this months numbers to how do we grow. These and many more changes are starting, but in a company as big as TE it can take time. If things keep progressing as they've been TE will be a very excellent company in a few years.
Cons
There are still pockets of complacency in management and staff. It can be a little frustrating at times.
