Pros
- Co-workers are great and the small business feel is really nice. - Benefits aside from PTO are good
Cons
- No official way of logging hours worked for salaried employees (makes you feel like you could easily be exploited) - Because of there being no official hour tracking system the time off/vacation is all on the honor system and your manager can turn your request down at any point even if you are trying to use personal days for important reasons. - The PTO does not roll over and your boss can decline your wish to use them so even if you start with a reasonable amount it doesn't mean you can use it. - The culture is a work first and do anything else later view. NOT at all a good work life balance (makes you nervous to go home) - The upper management refuses to put money into a good system that would promote efficiency and instead would rather stick to paper and overwork its employees.
