Pros
* Work from anywhere in the world
Cons
• Lack of structure - confusing work environment and structure with a VERY HIGH employee turnover, people come and go so quickly you can barely keep up with names. • Poor Management - Management positions are given to favorites who aren’t necessarily experienced enough to manage a team. • You are put in meetings that have absolutely nothing to do with you or your work. • Lots of obvious favoritism, recognition/bonus system is bias. • Company policies change often and without any formal warnings/updates. • TikTal is a start up company with minimal recourses. • No proper HR structure. • Job description changes often. • Other employees have access to your work. • Informal communication. • No respect for employees. I could go on and on but should you accept an offer from TikTal please be aware of the risks - I was laid-off without any formal notice or warning even though my contract stated I should have been given prior written notice and two weeks to correct any failed obligations stated in the agreement, don’t get me started on how I was patronized during my exit meeting when I was holding them accountable for breaching my contract. A few other colleagues were also laid-off in this manner. Tiktal has absolutely no integrity as a company and they fail to follow their own policies.
