There is ongoing effort being made by management to educate new developers on company technology, business flow, and outside emerging tech. If you have an interest in finance and the initiative to be a self learner you can learn a lot about fixed income trading. The kindness and respect in the office as a whole reflects the culture the CEO has encouraged and fostered.

Developers are expected to work without admin rights. If you want to try a new technology which requires administrative privileges it can be challenging. The open floor plan can be distracting at times.
