All of the executives and/or managers work remotely, yet offer little to no flexibility or support to the in-office staff. They claim to offer telecommuting but they make you jump through flaming hoops of approval that make it not even worth asking. Your managers have no time for you, yet they have impossibly high expectations. They claim to "Reject Mediocrity" yet allow it to run rampant, unchecked, until so much damage has been done they have no chance but to terminate the mediocre employee in question. In contrast there is next to no recognition of excellence/going "Above the Line." They might give you a "shoutout" at the unnecessarily disruptive all-hands weekly "Huddle" but no tangible rewards, and no real hope for advancement. Everyone, including management, has realized these problems, yet nothing has been done to address them. In the past year alone, 9 people quit, including a VP. By percentage, that's over 30% of the creative department that resigned within the same year. What does that tell you?
