Pros

Work remotely, they give you your own cell phone, some nice coworkers you work with on a daily basis.

Cons

Compensation is one of the lowest in the industry; this was one of the very rare places that had a draw against your commission/salary., No work/life balance. Leadership from second to the top down was the absolute worst. It’s all about what have you done for me lately… They preach about culture all the time, but they lack it themselves. Terrible underwriting, you can rarely get a loan done at have to send it to a backup lender where the builder makes money, but your left holding the bag. Overall, I would probably look for a job as a garbage person than this place, at least there’s more job stability and better leadership there.

Pros

Good benefits and decent pay

Cons

Advancing via merit system does not exist, low metric superintendents are awarded CSC to train. Management preaches accountability but does not practice it while, passing all the bad decisions down to their team members to take accountability for their actions and decisions. There is no team mentality in Charlotte anymore. The culture has been turned in to a game of cutthroat in which every teammate is trying to make another look bad in order to hide their mistakes. It was a great place to be when I started but it has turned sour in the worst way causing the division to lose all if their top talent at the CSM, CM, and CWM positions. Everyone feels this way and are too afraid to say it due to fear of being targeted
