Look after their employees with decent salary progression, bonuses and freebies (especially at Christmas). Reward loyalty and long service. Directors dislike the use of bleeding edge technology, preferring mature established tech to avoid rookie errors hitting their large customer base.

Have a mix of new and old technologies (e.g. Java is 20 years old) that can frustrate employees who are looking to improve their CV and job hop. A bit paranoid about security, probably a good thing.
