The best word to describe this company is Abusive. Employees are extremely rude and nasty to each other, from the executive level to the staff level, and it is very much tolerated. Most people working there are absolutely miserable and are looking for a way out. Executives sit in ivory towers rudely making drill sergeant orders and demands and holding unreasonable and abusive expectations. This company doesn't care that you have a life outside it; when you work for Tecan, you better be prepared to give all that up, that includes your nights, weekends, holidays and time with your family, otherwise, a PIP is in your near future. The culture is oppressive, employees are toxic and business operations are archaic, inefficient, and lacking any and all modernization, leading to unmet customer needs, even at the most basic levels. Implementing change is near impossible, as they intentionally make it difficult for you to do so. This organization is truly disgusting. Stay away.
