Bad pay, bad environment - Editor Textbroker International Employee Review

Pros

Free coffee and tea in the break room

Cons

I was an editor. Every day in a group chat, all the other editors would make fun of the authors who submitted their content--the bad writing primarily. It sickened me, and I never did it. Some editors got on power trips and would repeatedly send back authors' work just because they thought it was funny, and then have the authors blocked, even if the authors who submitted content were trying their hardest. Take a bunch of introverts and stick them in a room and know what you get? Nobody says hi in the mornings, or bye when they leave. Nobody eats lunch together. In fact, most people eat lunch at their desk by themselves WHILE STILL WORKING. Work on the computer for 8 hours a day and your eyes and joints begin to hurt. Managers goof off, as do many employees in other departments. Daily. Pay is bad.

Pros

Years past there were plenty of articles to choose from though none paid well. The addition of Direct Orders helped with weekly income.

Cons

People who aren't true freelance writers are using AI and bringing down the quality. No work available for stretches of time.
