Pros

Amazing place to kick-start your career, you'll gain a lot of skills. Exposure to various industries (clients) in terms of social media needs/activities. You get valuable practical experience. Flexibility to make changes to the system/workflow if you're willing. Friendly work environment and mostly the people are nice. If you want to go beyond your core responsibilities, there would be plenty of opportunities to take on more or different types of work and become an invaluable member of the team. You work closely with the core team.

Cons

Compensation & salaries are relatively low. Organization & workflow sometimes get out of hands. Management doesn't have a strong/solid experience of management. (Most of them if not all started at the same place.) (None have corporate experience.) Extra efforts are taken for granted without proper compensation. Sometimes the friendliness/flexibility might backfire and miss-balance the work-life balance. You may not have a clear road map of how you can advance your career or even what the next step at the company is for you. Lack of formal policies and procedures.
