Pros

Flexible & hybrid working Growing start-up

Cons

Horrible place to work at. It came with the ups and downs of a start-up (which isn’t for everyone). Wages are below average. What really made it toxic, though, were the many inappropriate comments female colleagues and colleagues with disabilities were subjected to by one of the CEOs.

Pros

* Only two office days per week gives some breathing room. * There are genuinely decent people on the wider team doing their best - often despite leadership, not because of it.

Cons

* The company hides behind a “vegan” and “ethical” label, but these are just marketing buzzwords. Internally, there’s no alignment with those values. Ethical treatment of staff is not a priority. * Favouritism is rampant. Who you know matters more than what you do. Some people get a green pass, even after serious misconduct, while others get punished for doing the right thing or setting boundaries. * Leadership communication is vague, contradictory, and full of empty promises. There’s a lot of talk and very little action. If it’s not in writing, don’t count on it (especially when it comes to money). There's a high turnover of staff and people disappear for no apparent reason. * Pay is below market, and they’ll do whatever they can to avoid giving raises or bonuses, even when they’ve already been promised. * Some of the senior people are obsessed with AI. People are viewed as replaceable. Most company-wide emails now feel like they were written by ChatGPT. Spoiler alert: they probably were.

Pros

The general team is made up of passionate, supportive, and resilient individuals who genuinely care about each other and have an abundance of talent and knowledge. The people are the only reason I stayed as long as I did.

Cons

They position themselves as a B Corp and vegan company, but these values seem to stop at marketing. Internally, they don’t meet basic standards for pay, support, or ethical leadership. Senior Management Team is disconnected, unapproachable, and seemingly uninterested in staff wellbeing or feedback. There’s no genuine investment in people. Raises are virtually non-existent, and even promised bonuses can be withheld with little explanation. Career progression is just a buzzword here—there’s no structure, mentorship, or development path. Roles are static and growth is not encouraged. Turnover is high, burnout is common, and nothing meaningful is done to address it.
