Pros
- discounted cheesecake - nice office location
Cons
- long hours and high volume but not an actually challenging work environment to gain skills to add to your resume/advance your career. pro for those who enjoy complacency or aren’t super career driven. - office is stuck in the 1990s and they will claim they keep things outdated to be environmentally friendly. management does not embrace change and you will be pushed out if your challenge the norm too much or ask others to take accountability for bad behavior - can be hard for some to be a culture fit with the “so cheesecake” mentality, there’s pressure to be bubbly and outgoing, even if it’s not genuine - pay is so low, i was paid the lowest here out of all of my corporate jobs - common to hear VPs, directors, and managers snapping and yelling at others, women walking out of offices crying, name calling, body shaming. - attorneys yelling out of frustration through the halls - exceptional amount of favoritism, like many companies. managers pick who will succeed regardless of skill. - pretty much no days off since the restaurants never close - “best place to work” is an insincere title the company pays for. i wouldn’t doubt they have fake 5 star reviews on this site to increase their rating. - this environment is not safe for women; at least one other woman and i received flirtatious and suggestive emails from multiple male coworkers. - turnover was absolutely insane in finance when i worked there around 2021 - i could go on unfortunately…
