Pros
The hiring and onboarding process was good. Writers were rotated to various sister sites of The Christian Post according to our level of expertise. We also got adequate coaching from our superiors. Everything was great until the management ran into some financial woes (it was unclear what exactly was the problem as they wouldn't tell us why people were getting laid off one by one).
Cons
After about a year (this was in 2015-2017), our salaries started getting delayed. We went weeks to months (sometimes 3 or 4 months) without salary and were still expected to deliver our daily quota. The last time we got paid was in March 2017 and were promised payment by December of that year. I still had 4 unpaid invoices (2 months worth of labor). We never heard from them since, despite our follow-up.
