Pros
- They have a nice ,open space office - People here are genuinely nice . Everyone just seems to lack experience - They pay well (compared to traditional agencies). But I've heard that this is only for the suits and creatives are paid peanuts.
Cons
- Management lacks ample experience. Because of this , there are many gaps in the business. Such as agreeing to SOWs that will work the team to death (and charging the clients very cheap). - There are very obvious favourites among the employees. - No proper management / system in the accounts team. Handover was done horribly and they just dumped accounts on you with little to no help. Everything was just a mess. It made my first few months in The Clan an absolute disaster to work in. They just seemed in a rush to give accounts to you without properly ensuring that you understand it. - Quality of creative can be really subpar. They need constant monitoring and there's no project manager so you're the one monitoring , almost handholding them. Creatives are not accountable to their work. - Creative heads are not helpful. It's a constant battle everyday to get your work out which will add to your work load. -HR talks down on you and very obviously practices favouritism - The Clan seems to try extremely hard to be like one of the bigger, fancy agencies out there. They do alot of fluffy things like building a beautiful office , or giving their employees random gifts, having a vending machine for snacks (an every employee gets a monthly allowance for this) but there are big cracks in the the business. It almost seems like a front to attract good talent while actual employees are being worked to death.
