Pros

- They have a nice ,open space office - People here are genuinely nice . Everyone just seems to lack experience - They pay well (compared to traditional agencies). But I've heard that this is only for the suits and creatives are paid peanuts.

Cons

- Management lacks ample experience. Because of this , there are many gaps in the business. Such as agreeing to SOWs that will work the team to death (and charging the clients very cheap). - There are very obvious favourites among the employees. - No proper management / system in the accounts team. Handover was done horribly and they just dumped accounts on you with little to no help. Everything was just a mess. It made my first few months in The Clan an absolute disaster to work in. They just seemed in a rush to give accounts to you without properly ensuring that you understand it. - Quality of creative can be really subpar. They need constant monitoring and there's no project manager so you're the one monitoring , almost handholding them. Creatives are not accountable to their work. - Creative heads are not helpful. It's a constant battle everyday to get your work out which will add to your work load. -HR talks down on you and very obviously practices favouritism - The Clan seems to try extremely hard to be like one of the bigger, fancy agencies out there. They do alot of fluffy things like building a beautiful office , or giving their employees random gifts, having a vending machine for snacks (an every employee gets a monthly allowance for this) but there are big cracks in the the business. It almost seems like a front to attract good talent while actual employees are being worked to death.

Pros

Family vibe agency Understanding bosses with good heart Best team and colleagues

Cons

For 2 years++ working with The GOVT, no single increment is given. On top of that, was supposed to receive expected salary after probation period but after discussion with the boss, was challenge to achieve certain KPI due to “Too early to prove your skill” and add on unrealistic KPI in the new revised contract, eg; winning few awards when the agency don’t even submit any jobs for awards. Being someone who is still new in the industry at that time, felt challenged and wanted to prove to the boss that I can do it. Eversince they won their best independent agency, the agency don’t even bother to submit any other work for awards submission. Hence, no increment is given due to not meeting the KPI. Other colleagues and freelancer, not one but few of them didn’t get pay for their freelance jobs with The GOVT/The Clan due to “client didn’t pay us yet”. Not bringing the agency down but people work hard for money to survive. Stop manipulating ppl with unrealistic KPI/reasoning by not compensating their hard earn deserved money.

Pros

Fun environment. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Very nice seniors and bosses. Can learn a lot of things.

Cons

Working long hours, low salary, no bonus, very hard to get increment or promotion, fast phase, less benefits. But... It's understandable. The economy is bad. The clients are not paying as much as the big agencies are getting. They have to keep the overhead low to make sure the agency can sail smoothly.
