Please do yourself a favour and stay away from this company. - Little to no employee benefits: No official store policy, owner changes her mind about pay rates and staff discount rates as she pleases - No overtime or public holiday/Sunday pay: No extra pay for staff opening or closing who are expected to arrive and stay back 30 min to clean and prep store - Asian approach to business: Expect excessively pushy sales techniques - Extremely high staff turnover - 24/7 surveillance in all corners and rooms of store: Do NOT change in the storeroom, owner's business partner who is also her husband has access to surveillance footage, Constant watch over staff via cameras and instant messaging services feels like the owner is breathing down your neck the whole shift - Unprofessional behaviour: Owner often talks about staff members to senior staff in their native language while person is present - Strict atmosphere: No talking allowed, full stop. - Household chores: Confused to whether hired to clean or sell?
