Pros

- gain some skin care and products knowledge - learn how to clean, m not jk - you will feel like you can work anywhere after this job

Cons

I would like to share very specifically with real episodes. Read carefully and don’t freak out. REDADY? 1. a lot of PRESSURE but NO COMMISSION all the retail has pressure to meet the target but here is bit different, why ? if you don’t meet the target and literally boss came up to you and told you off every week at least. then you will get horrible shift or get fired in the end. but Even though you meet the target, NO commission. 2.CLEANING JOB + LABOUR JOB I know this is retail,, but sometimes actually you will spend more time on cleaning. for example, you have to actually open all the products and wipe it. wait~~ this is not it, cuz you literally have to wipe every single thing you cannot even think of. labour job? YES , every month or two month, you will get hundreds of products in boxes and you have to carry and open it and restock. No extra payment ~ 3. boss will watch you under camera 24/7 Yes, legit, she will watch you for every behaviour. To be honestly, there is even camera in back room where you can change your cloth. this factor is different by shop but they do have camera everywhere which is illegal 4. Job security so basically you won’t have any job security cuz cancellation of shift, sick call? - you get fired lol swear to god, employee turn over is way to fast. Like everyone quit in about 2 months. or even before. (I worked about a year and I was one of the longest employees.. who survived...?) 5. NO RESPECT to employee basically the boss has no morale and your sales history will be open to everyone and even ranked by A,B,C,D,E ,,, this is really bad because this incurs disrespect between employees and imagine you are in D group,,,. and you will be put in the morning shift which is basically cleaning job for about 2 hrs. 6. Illegal WAGE casual 18$ or even less, par-time, full time 19-20,21$, Weekend? same pay. Holiday ? SAME PAYMENT this is illegal So, you have to work in every public holiday with worst wage. 6. As a whole I wonder that how they haven't gotten sued. or probably they will be soon.

Pros

- Sampling and learning about new and interesting products - Gaining knowledge in skincare and beauty

Cons

Please do yourself a favour and stay away from this company. - Little to no employee benefits: No official store policy, owner changes her mind about pay rates and staff discount rates as she pleases - No overtime or public holiday/Sunday pay: No extra pay for staff opening or closing who are expected to arrive and stay back 30 min to clean and prep store - Asian approach to business: Expect excessively pushy sales techniques - Extremely high staff turnover - 24/7 surveillance in all corners and rooms of store: Do NOT change in the storeroom, owner's business partner who is also her husband has access to surveillance footage, Constant watch over staff via cameras and instant messaging services feels like the owner is breathing down your neck the whole shift - Unprofessional behaviour: Owner often talks about staff members to senior staff in their native language while person is present - Strict atmosphere: No talking allowed, full stop. - Household chores: Confused to whether hired to clean or sell? Expect to dust, wipe, sweep, vacuum, mop, etc. - No flexibility: Owner expects staff to give full flexibility

Pros

If the head office likes you, they give you the hours you want. Co workers are nice. Average employee benefit

Cons

The head office does not care about any of your personal life or who you are as a person. Just how youre doing with your sales.
