Pros
I love everyone I work with. It seems like most of the hiring here is done for personality type, which means we have really strong teams of people who work very effectively together. Everyone here is really passionate and encouraging. Management is supportive of finding your work life balance and being flexible within reason. Generally, it's an awesome work environment. Everyone here really wants to see everyone else grow and succeed. As far as the actual doing of business goes, I think great strides are being made to match what we do and how we do it to our ideals and mission as a company. No one, and no company, is perfect, but The FruitGuys really want to try.
Cons
We're so focused on perfect customer service that sometimes expectations aren't realistic, creating challenges with meeting internal goals and working with our business partners. Management isn't always responsive to concerns that aren't directly related to the customer experience, you may have to hound someone to get an answer to a question or resolve an issue. Because of both of these things, there is a lot of frustration, loss of efficiency, and waste of resources (not fruit, we donate everything we don't use that is edible!) which could be put to better use.
