Pros

There are none, unless you like their food I guess.

Cons

Bounced paychecks are so common they have a form ready for you to fill out to get reimbursed for bank fees. Vendors are all COD which is a bad sign in the restaurant industry. Pay is low with no room to negotiate. They are not doing well financially, see their closed location in Phoenix. Staff turnover is insanely high, they refuse to even order you a chef coat because 'they want to make sure you're going to stick around'. The owner is a nutjob. She herself avoids confrontation and sends other staff to do her dirty work. She attempted to fire me for being late when I was not and then 'gave me another chance', no apologies for the misunderstanding & her jumping to conclusions. A few days later, they told me to go home early because I didn't feel great. I protested, they insisted. An hour later, they fired me for leaving early... via TEXT... and refused to answer my phone calls. Read all the reviews especially if you're looking at a management or chef position. Don't waste your time!

Pros

good quality food . Catering operations team amazing . Chefs are amazing. For a small company, benefits are ok.

Cons

Very weird dynamic to work for . most of the owners family works for the owner. They are great , but can also lead to standers not being the same . Most of the family seems to be able to work remote , but not available for others . The HR department is in a foreign country. They are fantastic. They also have to do the “dirty work “. If you get let go or any type of hard conversations , they are done by HR. Think about the scene in “Moneyball “ where Jona Hill is talking to a player and asks “why doesn’t the GM travel with us , so we are easier to cut “ , that’s exactly it. I was shocked at first to hear of the turn over rate , as I was enjoying my time , but learned quickly why. They give control to the wrong people . I had a senior level manager tell me they took their book of business from their former employer , not sure why they don’t think this won’t happen to them. Not my work ethic , but may work for others. No real growth potential , but great if you need to just get by . PTO is by far the worst over ever seen . You get 40 hours a year and don’t start accruing after 90 days . No 401k available.
