Bounced paychecks are so common they have a form ready for you to fill out to get reimbursed for bank fees. Vendors are all COD which is a bad sign in the restaurant industry. Pay is low with no room to negotiate. They are not doing well financially, see their closed location in Phoenix. Staff turnover is insanely high, they refuse to even order you a chef coat because 'they want to make sure you're going to stick around'.
The owner is a nutjob. She herself avoids confrontation and sends other staff to do her dirty work. She attempted to fire me for being late when I was not and then 'gave me another chance', no apologies for the misunderstanding & her jumping to conclusions.
A few days later, they told me to go home early because I didn't feel great. I protested, they insisted. An hour later, they fired me for leaving early... via TEXT... and refused to answer my phone calls.
Read all the reviews especially if you're looking at a management or chef position. Don't waste your time!
