Pros

Pretty good hourly rate compared to other companies in the field. Access to clients in multiple counties. Able to either accept or deny cases. For employees working 32+ hours/week: paid time off and eligibility for medical insurance benefits.

Cons

Absolutely horrendous organization of administration. Turnover rate is worrisome. There seems to be at least one new administrator every couple months. Many of the administrators are rude in their handlings with the clinicians. Some of the clinicians and administrators seem to be selfishly driven toward personal gain, forgetting the fact that our primary purpose is to help children and families in need! pI've personally experienced a BSC trying to get me fired by placing blame on me for a mistake she made...twice. I'm sorry to say, but I can't recommend working for this company.

The rate at which we are able to bill for treatment services was set in 1992 and has never changed -- in 24 years! We sympathize with employees and former employees and have actively sought change in State and other regulations that would improve the opportunities for employee compensation. We don't retain employees who selfishly pursue personal gain; we are strong advocates for our clients and their families, and for our staff. We are widely recognized as a vocal and persistent advocate for the needs of child mental health treatment providers in Pennsylvania and sincerely hope our former employees experience success in their ongoing search for satisfying employment throughout their careers.

Pros

From my experience, my supervisors always went above and beyond to make sure I was heard and got the help I needed.

Cons

You only get paid for face-to-face time. Your hours are never guaranteed. Might be a good job for a college student or someone just graduating college.

Pros

All supervisors genuinely cared and offered support. The clients and families I worked with made the work meaningful.

Cons

Administration is highly unresponsive. Voicemails and emails often go unanswered, even when related to payroll or urgent client concerns. Payroll is unreliable — deductions are made without proper explanation, and access to paystubs is delayed or withheld. If you disagree with or express concerns to administration, you are often met with defensiveness or silence. It becomes clear that speaking up will affect how you're treated moving forward. The culture is retaliatory — once you advocate for yourself or push back on issues, support starts to disappear. Administration never takes accountability for mistakes or miscommunication and never issues apologies, even when they mishandle sensitive matters or affect your pay. Emotional labor and strong client relationships are undervalued. Field staff are often left out of decisions that directly impact the clients they work with daily.
