Pros

At the time the insurance was free, I've heard they took that away.

Cons

Management was absolute garbage. I was constantly threatened of being fired for NOT attempting at trying to fix their multi million dollar Brilliant show whenever it broke down, amongst other reasons. Was disciplined for not acting like a supervisor with the ambassadors when I was not paid to be a supervisor nor given the title of a supervisor. Constantly forced to keep working in dangerous situations such as shootings, fireworks being shot at the collection from Siegel Suites, lightening storms within the danger zone of possible hitting the entirely METAL museum. Forced to stand for multiple hours with no breaks outside in summer heat (it reaching roughly 120 degrees in the summer) or in freezing temperatures during winter Not allowed to take tips because "were a nonprofit so we cant accept gifts from guests" as the management would constantly receive gifts in the form of 'Life is Beautiful' tickets, free food, donations, etc. Management constantly self promoting for raised with fake titles. Hypocritical management constantly changing rules that would endanger the collection and even staff. Forced to do tasks not within our jobs description AND we were not trained to do (i remember specifically being told to clean a destroyed bathroom covered in feces and urine). Abusive management that manipulates and literally torments employees. Promotes employees that JUST SO HAPPEN to have rich/influencable family. I could go on but I think I made my point.

Pros

I was grateful to learn more about the city that I was born and raised in, by working directly with neon signs and ephemera.

Cons

There wasn't much room for organic growth, and it was hard always having to work outside.
