Pros

some nice staff, hours aren't too bad for full timers

Cons

Worst work experience of my life. And I've worked at spoons. No matter whether you're a small or large company, you should know how to speak to people, how to care for your staff. People have opinions, people have mental health issues, people have the right to speak up about issues. It's how you deal with all the things that get thrown at you that shows who you are as managers and the owners of a company. When your staff turnover is as high as it is, surely that's when you know there is a problem. The two reasons people leave jobs.....the management and a better salary. I moved to a lower paid, lower management job, because of this company. 90% of the team I had have all now been fired or quit. It says it all. Plus putting my job out before I had even left or known I was leaving. That's how these people treat their staff.

Pros

If you work over 3hrs you get a salad. Can pick up shifts in other stores.

Cons

Horrendous onboarding after your one day training your thrown in the deep end. No menu training, no allergens. Just online course. You can work 12-3 then back 6-10. Most stores don’t have a staff room just a closet. Changing management and team members weekly. Most staff don’t stay. Coperate will come to the store randomly, take pictures of your station and nit pick at the busiest times. No water breaks. Forget career progression, this is done by favouritism. Not allowed to take the food, all has to thrown in the bin at the end of day.

Pros

Great team atmosphere; colleagues are friendly and supportive. Free healthy meals during shifts – a big plus if you love salads! Flexible scheduling, which works well for students or those with other commitments. Good introduction to hospitality and customer service skills.

Cons

Peak hours can be very busy for some and you will need to keep up with the pace. Limited career progression for part-time roles unless you move to full-time. Physical work can be tiring (lots of standing and prepping).
