Pros

Really cares about their employees. Always looking to improve any situation, procedure or system if it will help improve morale and employment,

Cons

Could work on communication and asking the ones who it affects what they think before making the change.

Pros

Coworkers that truly care about their clients and the work they do.

Cons

You are staffed one to one with a client and responsible for maintaining constant supervision, but they do not consistently staff the clinic with enough people to provide break coverage. So more than once a week staff are told to hold their calls for bathroom coverage and to use the toilet on their lunch break because there is no staff available for support. That is potentially from 8:30 AM up to 1:00 PM at times with no toilet breaks and no one available to support you with client behaviors if you need it. Even when they do have additional staff available for help, calls for support or a break often go unanswered, sometimes for hours. When I started you were encouraged to call for a break if you needed it for any reason, now you can’t get someone to let you use the toilet. After little to no breaks working a challenging and pretty physical job, full time staff are tasked with cleaning the clinic. This leads to burn out and low morale. Call outs were recently limited to once a month, and working with preschoolers where HFM, norovirus, Covid, flu, lice, strep etc regularly circulate - you have the choice between coming in sick and spreading contagion or facing disciplinary action/possible firing. Better hope it isn’t the stomach bug, because you won’t get bathroom breaks… HR can be a nightmare. If you have an issue or concern, I recommend go to Whistleblowers.gov or an agency outside the company before you go to HR. They should start a union. Also, the CEO listed on this sight is not accurate. Could someone on Glassdoor edit that please?
