Pros
Flexible schedule... For now Nice discount on ATT service for working for ATT President is a great man, helped start a go fund me for an employee to get a very expensive operation done Lot of the back office people seem friendly, though I never really see them face to face Depending on what store you work can have your paychecks be pretty heavy, but other stores you'll average out to be making minimum wage
Cons
The company has refused to listen to input from it's front line, which is where they say continually "without you manager and reps we would have nothing" yet the company can go out and afford to buy an amusement park There is A LOT of gossip in between stores, managers, and district managers. Some harmless and some very harmful. There are very potentially dangerous rumors of higher ups all the way down to sales reps of VERY questionable behaviors outside of work which I will not go into details about here. The company severely underestimates training. There is no formal training for sales. There are classes to take that are ATT mandated but nothing to help people become sellers to make any decent money. The manager pay scale is an utter joke. To pay every manager a different salary based on store traffic is asinine. All managers are required to do the same tasks regardless of traffic so why make the salary's so different? The bonus system for managers could be revised to make up for the change in salary to make it appropriate to reward the managers for pushing the store past expectations. I along with other current and past employees have given upper management several quality of life suggestions that have been completely ignored for almost the entire time I have been at this company. There also is a secret group of employees that the upper management looks after and uses the voice of this small group to make changes for the whole company. Also the company will do charge backs on things that are returned, and believe me they do due diligence on this. However they will not pay you if you forgot to ring out a feature which is strange seeing how they can go through invoices and figure things out that are there that aren't Also managers don't get any slack for not selling. Since being a manager I've actually taken a pay cut so a promotion has actually lead to a loss in my salary because I was an exceptional sales rep. I was placed into a lower tier store due to my inexperience as manager but it was assured I would be getting a raise from it. Even as a low tier store. My W2s say other wise. One of the other biggest pet peeves of mine, as is many, if the fact that you have people who lack common knowledge and don't understand the difference of reply to all and just replying directly to a single person. My God I've never seen so many incompetent people reply all to daily numbers or a simple "hey great job today" be sent to the WHOLE COMPANY I could continue to go on about the things this company strives to do and fails time and time again.
