Pros
Working 1:1 with children with ASDs is fun and rewarding, even with more challenging clients!
You are offered drive time, relatively flexible scheduling if you're part time, and there were often opportunities to sub in for extra shifts.
Cons
The facility as a whole felt too full of clients with too few staff and supplies, leaving clients with a lot of downtime and placing BTs under too much stress to work well consistently. There were PAs notorious for being rude and unhelpful to the BTs working with their clients, and there was a constant shortage of supplies from therapy materials to basic sanitation materials.
