Pros

- You get to manage people within the first 4-9 months in the role - You are given the responsibility of a direct report (pegged associate) from a year into the role

Cons

- The environment feels like it's straight out of a 2000s american highschool movie. Everyone is "in a relationship" with everyone, there's gossip everywhere, etc. It's like working with children, but worse - Management is horrible. They'll be so nice to you, until you're no longer useful (when you move department, your performance slows, etc) or until they're stressed - The work ours are HORRIBLE. It's not a 9-6, it's a 7:30 until whenever the client stops emailing you. If they email at 11PM, you're expected to reply and sort their requests out - The clients, and experts, who you'll be constantly in contact with can be mean and mouthy and you'll just have to take it and suck it up - You don't know what stress is until you've worked in connections at Third Bridge. EVERY.SINGLE.MINUTE of your day is mapped out and filled up. Literally, every single minute. You'll be working on one thing and 5 different people will be messaging you left and right and chasing you for an update about what you've done so far on their projects. That's on top of the clients messaging you and chasing you at ungodly hours of the morning and night There are so many more cons, but i'm getting riled up just thinking about them

Pros

Good entry-level opportunity with exposure to fast-paced, client-facing work. The company hires driven, sociable individuals and can be a strong starting point for building communication, prioritization, and execution skills in a high-performance environment.

Cons

High turnover and inconsistent management quality significantly impact the employee experience. Success is heavily dependent on your team lead and manager, with limited recourse if you’re placed under ineffective leadership. In my experience, poor communication, lack of emotional intelligence, and unclear expectations from management made it difficult to succeed and negatively affected day-to-day productivity. Internal processes around performance management and PTO lacked transparency. I was placed on a PIP and terminated shortly after (within a week) in a way that felt abrupt and not aligned with prior communication, which was initially framed as a discussion around pending PTO. There were also delays in PTO approvals, and I experienced issues with compensation adjustments following a promotion that required follow-up to resolve.
