Regarding your comments on management, it is true that we often have first-time managers, as we take pride in promoting from within. Many, if not all, have firsthand experience in the entry-level roles you mentioned before stepping into a management position. Each new Manager participates in a comprehensive training programme, which continues as they grow into their roles. We recognise that leadership development takes time, and we remain committed to continuously reviewing and enhancing our training and resources to ensure all employees feel fully supported.
We also encourage anybody who feels there is an element of micromanagement in their role to have an open conversation during frequent one-to-one meetings with their manager to discuss any concerns they may have, as well as different working styles that suit them best.
Lastly, we recognise that the role is target and performance-based. Whilst this is the case, we know that our compensation and benefits offering is competitive and employee-focused (including compensation and uncapped bonus schemes!). We are transparent about the nature of the role on all of our job descriptions and recognise this type of environment doesn't suit everyone.
