Pros

Everyone good is leaving or have left already. Good for them!

Cons

Since the pandemic this company has not compensated it's employees fairly. There was a pay freeze while tech pay soared to the highest ever. Then there has been subsequent pay freezes and minimal pay increases that are below inflation. There are seniors getting paid at Consultant levels and leads getting paid at senior level. To add insult to injury they publish salary bands for each grade and there are folks getting paid significantly UNDER their salary bands. They said it was for transparency reasons only, it doesn't mean they will make it right and pay you in your salary band. Getting a promotion doesn't guarantee a raise. Yes, you will get the title and the responsibility but not the pay. It isn't temporary either. This has been going on for the last 3-4 years. It is also not an isolated incident. Yet the company is asking more and more from us.

Pros

I've had a great experience building my career at Thoughtworks. One of the things that stands out most is the culture. It's collaborative, supportive, and filled with people who genuinely want to help each other succeed. Thoughtworks has also provided me with meaningful opportunities for career growth. I've been encouraged to take on new challenges, develop new skills, and explore different career paths. Leaders have been approachable and supportive, and I've always felt empowered to own my development rather than being confined to a single role. Like any organization, we’ve had our ups and downs. But the people and the commitment to continuous learning have remained consistent strengths. If you're looking for a place where you can grow professionally, work with smart and passionate people, and be part of a culture that values collaboration and innovation, Thoughtworks is a great place to build your career.

Cons

None that I can think of right now.
