Pros

None, "Run Away" Monty Python style.

Cons

Toxic work environment. Both the founders left the company, and none of the leadership have a security background. How is this possible for a security company?

Thank you for your review of Threat Stack. It’s unfortunate that it did not work out for you here, but as we tell all our applicants, Threat Stack is “not for everyone”. Please know that while our founders have moved on to new initiatives, Jen Andre still remains an active member of our Board of Directors. As for current leaderships lack of “security background”, a search on linked in will show our current CEO, Brian Ahern, brought his last start-up, Industrial Defender, a leader in security, compliance and change management, to a success acquisition in 2014. While we may not be perfect, we strive to make our employees feel like a priority and it’s our fault for your unhappy experience. As will continue to strive to make Threat Stack a driver in the cyber security space, we hope you will reconsider us in the future. Please follow us at #threatstack or if you would like to learn more about our career roles as they happen, follow #threatstackers. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

Pros

- Great location right next to the Downtown Crossing T stop - Free snacks, weekly catered lunches - Individual Contributors are a pleasure to work with. If you choose to pursue a career here, chances are you'll get along well with your team mates - Chance to travel to different Expos throughout the year - Senior Management go out of their way to interact directly with employees

Cons

- Make sure you negotiate your offer well. Management continuously fails to fulfill career promises, rescinding expectations made (going as far back as during the hiring process) on multiple occasions - A lot of green and weak management. Chances are - regardless of your position - you'll hear about political drama - Leadership focus during my tenure has been heavily sales oriented. As a result, Product has suffered and innovations are slow - resulting in a number of increasingly unhappy customers
