Management - don't get me wrong, there are amazing managers at Thrive who bust their butts every day and advocate for their teams. Upper-level mgmt or "ELT" never felt this way. Thrive had 3 different Director of Operations in a 1 year. They willingly promote and gladly depart from others even if they are a high performer. Unlikely you'll be given a clear answer on growth path and if you could ever expect an increase in pay. Exit interview was an informal chitchat, no questions were asked. In the end, they don't really care why you're leaving the only question they'll ask you is where are you going? Equality in pay across employees based on location and industry averages. Unlimited PTO was removed in 2023. They used this to attract talent and then took it away because a few abused/underused it when 200+ other employees were incredibly professional and reasonable with the time allotted. They even tried to give time off standards in the Unlimited PTO Policy (unlimited wasn't really unlimited). No cost of living raises. HR solicits Glassdoor reviews. Not good at predicting/forecasting employment needs. Constant revolving door. Teams are often understaffed or constantly replacing employees who've quit. Standard 8-5 and logging time. By the end, I felt incredibly insulted, undervalued, stressed, and just ready to get out.
