Pros

- Fun workout environment. - Relaxed dress code (there isn't really a dress code at all). - Paid time off is not accrued (which I liked).

Cons

- Management lacks skills and background needed to be effective at managing their people as well as setting/completing goals. - Title Nine is CHEAP. Instead of hiring experienced professionals they will hire unqualified people from within. Examples: Email marketing associate leaves, they have a customer service rep with zero background fill the new position. Needed a new IT helpdesk tech, they promoted someone from the warehouse who was pulling/picking orders (again, this person had no experience in this field). - Salary is far below industry standard. - They do not value working mothers. Their maternity leave is dismal and they are unwilling to help new mothers adjust to their rigid work schedules. - They don't give raises! No cost of living adjustments, either. Crazy! If you love to workout and are a young single woman with roommates, then Title Nine might be for you. Conversely, if you're not single then I hope your significant other gets paid well because you will not be able to afford bay area living on their salary. And if you have kids? Forget it.

Pros

+Great workplace culture +Workouts at work! +A kind and caring workplace +Good benefits, including 401(k) matching +Encouragement of carpooling/transit/biking +The warm and wonderful feeling of working for a company that really lives its values. The team supports and encourages women-owned businesses, and helps them grow.

Cons

Occasionally the scrappiness can feel a little disorganized. On the whole though, it's so much less chaotic than other places I've worked. Ultimately, it's retail. No one is getting rich. But getting paid a fair wage to work at a terrific company that really recognizes people's humanity and celebrates success feels like a fair trade.

Pros

-Title Nine's brand values are clearly reflected in how they treat their employees and everyone believes in the company's mission -I've worked for several companies and this is truly the best culture by a landslide: everyone genuinely likes one another and it's fun to come to work, there's a collaborative/team environment, a culture of experimentation, fun activities throughout the year, lunchtime workouts, indoor gym & showers, two pickleball courts at the office, WFH Fridays -Lots of opportunities for growth & visibility -Teams aren't siloed: plenty of cross-functional knowledge-sharing & collaboration -Title Nine prioritizes internal promotions over outside hires and there isn't a high turnover rate - people stay here for a long time

Cons

-We're very scrappy, so you end up wearing a lot of hats and it's not uncommon to take on new responsibilities that weren't initially part of your job scope -Title Nine is privately owned & has no outside funding so they can't always compete with salaries at other huge companies -Bonuses are based on company performance rather than individual performance & are all or nothing: everyone gets a bonus or no one gets a bonus
