Unstable work environment

Pros

- Fun workout environment. - Relaxed dress code (there isn't really a dress code at all). - Paid time off is not accrued (which I liked).

Cons

- Management lacks skills and background needed to be effective at managing their people as well as setting/completing goals. - Title Nine is CHEAP. Instead of hiring experienced professionals they will hire unqualified people from within. Examples: Email marketing associate leaves, they have a customer service rep with zero background fill the new position. Needed a new IT helpdesk tech, they promoted someone from the warehouse who was pulling/picking orders (again, this person had no experience in this field). - Salary is far below industry standard. - They do not value working mothers. Their maternity leave is dismal and they are unwilling to help new mothers adjust to their rigid work schedules. - They don't give raises! No cost of living adjustments, either. Crazy! If you love to workout and are a young single woman with roommates, then Title Nine might be for you. Conversely, if you're not single then I hope your significant other gets paid well because you will not be able to afford bay area living on their salary. And if you have kids? Forget it.

*Free workouts *No Dress Code *Yearly Company Challenges and What they call Olympics (fun times) *Being able to take vacation at any time

Cons

*Management is awful all around *Lowest Pay Ever *Suppose to be a women for women type of company and that’s not the case at all *Owner bashes and turns her nose up to women that are overweight, full figured (shapely) or just too heavy *Allows for individuals to be taunted by management and/or peers *Fake

Pros

Last of a dying breed. In this retail market there are few private companies that are still trying this hard to make it. Gotta respect their perseverance when competition is fierce. Great pro-deals and employee discounts. With that said....

Cons

They don't pay you enough to even use your pro-deal discounts. Research locations, many are in high class neighborhoods with high costs of living. There is no consideration in pay for local cost of living. None. If you weren't insanely overworked (as an underpaid salaried employee) then you had no stability in your hours or work schedule. You could easily be asked to work a shift and then be sent home after a couple of hours because there weren't enough customers. Both situations are not in-line with empowering women and promoting any type of financial independence The retail employees (from sales associates to managers) are treated by HQ like an afterthought and are literally given less resources than the web and catalog sales because those areas are their "bread and butter". They do not set you up for success because there is no training for anyone. They throw you into chaos expecting you to work incredibly long hours with very little pay and minimal support. They under stock store inventory and don't really care that you are the ones constantly explaining to customers, "We don't have that size, or that color, or that style, or that option... But we can order it and charge you shipping."(?!) Then you are blamed for not working hard enough when sales goals are not reached. But hey! You get to wear yoga pants to work...No thanks. Perhaps things have changed there. I sure hope so.
