Good team members but many were let off during multiple layoffs

I am still working at Tjene Corp, but honestly it has been very hard time for me and many coworkers. There was many layoffs, and people who worked many years and gave everything to company were just gone suddenly. Some of them were the ones who trained me and always helped with kindness, even when they were busy. It was very painful to see them go, while some new hires who didn’t contribute much yet were kept. It felt not fair, and many people felt scared and confused. There was no clear reason, and nobody explained why this happened.
After that, the atmosphere changed a lot. Before, I felt this company was warm and people cared about each other. But now, everything feels cold and nervous. People don’t speak honestly anymore, everyone is worried, and many are looking for new jobs in secret. There is no motivation, only stress and quiet fear. Even if you work hard, it doesn’t feel like it matters. There is no trust in leadership anymore, and no one really believes things will get better soon.
Many people, including me, want to leave, but job market is very difficult now. So we stay, not because we feel good here, but because we have no choice. Every day feels heavy, and it is not the same company I joined. If you are thinking to work here, please be careful. Maybe before it was good, but now, I cannot say it is a good place anymore.
