Pros

Well funded and connected in the zero trust world.

Cons

No respect for employees, both in work life balance and retention. Often fire people within the first month without reason. Refuses to provide vacation or even sick time, will fire people for taking sick or vacation time. No respect for privacy, will spy on employees slack/email/Internet traffic. Run deep scans for employees on darkweb/social media. Obsessed with never saying anything bad about the company even internally. Sr management will fly into rage when questions like "are we making spyware?" are asked. Engineers are expected to be available 24/7, constant scope creep directly from sr management, often uninformed and driven by "things they find online". Very adversarial towards remote work and they have an expectation that people stay long hours in office. Some in sr leadership are malicious towards "targeted" employees, often trash talking them and gossiping behind their backs and making petty and passive aggressive comments to their faces. Their tech stack is a disaster. No design process and testing is given lip service but sr leadership refuses to walk the walk when it is perceived as slowing things down. Avoid working for this company at all costs.

Pros

The people are what make Todyl stand out. Coworkers are approachable, encouraging, and genuinely want to help each other succeed. Leadership is accessible, and employees are trusted to take ownership of their work. There is a lot of autonomy and opportunity to contribute beyond my core responsibilities and a good place to be if you want to make an impact.

Cons

As a growing company, priorities can shift quickly and processes are still evolving. Adaptability is important, especially in a fast-paced environment.

Pros

I've seen a noticeable improvement in the culture since joining in earlier this year. It sounds like the company has gone through a significant amount of change but the overall direction feels positive. There seems to be a genuine effort from leadership to improve transparency, communication, and the employee experience. Snacks and garage parking. Moved here from out of state and the team has been awesome when it comes to making the transition easy and helping me feel like part of the team from day one.

Cons

Some processes are still evolving, which occasionally leads to ambiguity or inefficiencies but I heard that's common in startups.
