Pros
I have found that Toffler Associates fosters a work environment that is collaborative, dynamic, and compassionate. In my time here, I have been impressed by the leadership's commitment to the people who make up the company. There are ample opportunities for learning and growth through project-related roles, internal resources, and external professional development courses. Onboarding is thorough and there are other opportunities in your first year to deepen your understanding of the firm's methodologies and develop your consulting skills. The leadership is highly communicative and regularly shares updates on how we are collectively advancing toward the firm's goals. Staff needs are commonly heard and acted upon by the firm leadership. The total compensation package is also very generous. There are always many fascinating projects going on at one time, and coworkers will readily think through something project-related with you, offer advice, or connect you to the right resources. Toffler is a great place to work for someone who can handle a fast pace and wants to use their skills to make meaningful contributions to their teams, clients, and the firm.
Cons
I don't have any major cons to share. As I said in my pros response, leadership pays attention to staff needs and often finds a solution fairly quickly. Some of the cons I would have shared last year involved a lack of functional workspaces in the office and a slightly unstructured review cycle. However, in the last couple of months, leadership has paid attention to and resolved those issues. The office now has more standing desks and effective workspaces. Management now includes a new leader whose job is to enhance performance management, learning and development, and other aspects of the employment experience. Any cons that I have observed have not stuck around for long because leadership is accessible and interested in hearing about needs or suggestions.
